How to reach the location
If you come from outside of Indonesia or outside of Sumatera, you can reach Padang by plane. Minangkabau International Airport (Bandar Udara Internasional Minangkabau or BIM) is the main gateway to Padang City, with frequent flights to destinations throughout Sumatera and Java.
You can fly directly from Singapore or Malaysia. Singapore Airlines and Garuda Airlines are the international carriers to reach Padang City.
Meanwhile, the internal flights from Jakarta, Yogyakarta, Denpasar, Medan and Batam are serviced by a variety of budget airlines as like as Lion Air, Air Asia, Sriwijaya Air, batik Air and Citilink.
From BIM airport, you need about 45 minutes to reach the venue by taxy (taksi) or go-jek or go-grab. the last two are able to booked online through specific application.
About Padang City
Padang is the capital city of West Sumatra, and the largest city on the western coast of Sumatra Island.
